Camping is silver, glamping is gold - if you don't want to miss out on a camping holiday despite having high standards, you can be happy: Glamping is intended for all those who want to go on holiday close to nature, but still want to experience certain amenities or extravagances. That definitely fits together. Various pioneers are already opening up their extraordinary, creative and visually appealing camping grounds to nature lovers, thus enabling a special kind of holiday. However, this has very little to do with the classic romantic tent holiday with a folding table and kerosene lamp. In addition, the providers' accommodations are usually installed in fixed locations, so it is not possible to choose your own location - as is the case with original camping. However, if that's important to you, you have another option: DIY glamping .
Homemade glamping: The idea
Going out with your own tent, looking for a nice place and then simply spending a few nights in the great outdoors: That's the special and spontaneous thing about camping, the original idea, the “ back to the roots ”. Far from urban light sources, the van door can then be open at night and reveal a view of a glowing starry sky.
In the morning for breakfast, the advantages of being close to nature become apparent once again: flowers picked along the side of the road brighten up the breakfast table and give camper life a relaxed, natural touch of luxury.
