The Natterer See campsite near Innsbruck is a pioneer when it comes to glamping in Austria. In addition to mobile homes, sleeping barrels and, since this year, wood lodges can also be booked. The safari tents at the campsite recently broke new ground for the Alpine region. For fans of unusual accommodation, the place directly on Lake Natterer is a real recommendation.
Germany: Penthouse camping
Waldcamping Brombach in Bavaria offers a wide range of fairytale accommodation. With the Penthouse POD, the Tracking TROLL or a circus wagon, this place is at the top when it comes to the individuality of the accommodation. Hardly any other place offers this variety and a perfect match to the surroundings.
Switzerland: Glamping tents directly on Lake Zurich
Camping Zurich on Lake Zurich has already caused a stir with its safari tents right on the lake. The luxurious accommodations for two people per night are not necessarily in the “cheap” category of glamping accommodations , but are extremely exclusive. Champagne included!
Northern Italy: camping on 2 levels
A pioneer for glamping in Italy is in Trentino, Camping Lago di Levico. There is a two-story tower here, which consists of a combination of wooden and tent elements. The upper part houses a bedroom with a view of the stars and in the lower area there are two bunks for the children as well as a kitchen, bathroom and toilet.
