Good idea, of course you shouldn't miss a trip to Venice! Venice's canals and St. Mark's Square can be reached in just an hour. Would you like a breather? Then you should definitely visit the Giardini Pubblici. In these city gardens, children can play to their heart's content in the playgrounds. Another great excursion idea: Take a water taxi to one of the other islands in the lagoon and admire, for example, the glass blowing workshops for which Murano is world-famous.
