Anyone who thinks glamping further will quickly come to an unmistakable trend. So-called Alpine chalets are springing up, especially in the mountains. We'll now take a look at how much glamor and how much nature there is behind these rental holiday homes.

Lots of wood, a rustic cosiness and quite a bit of luxury - that's the mix that gives most chalets in the Alps their special appeal. The industry is booming and everything from affordable holiday villages with individual cabins for the whole family to extremely luxurious rental chalets can be booked. Exactly these two types of chalets are described in more detail on the “Genusszeit” portal. The first stop is in Carinthia, where the holiday village at Klippitztörl offers 30 alpine chalets between 70 and 130 square meters. The accommodations can accommodate up to 9 people. The area with many hiking trails, beautiful alpine landscapes and many small lakes is ideal for a family vacation. An indoor swimming pool is also available to the residents of the holiday village, should you catch the rare rainy days in Carinthia. Due to the location right next to a ski area, the chalets are very well booked even in winter. The huts are furnished in typical Carinthian style and offer an extremely pleasant atmosphere with lots of wood and a fireplace.

The chalets at the Seehotel Niedernberg in Bavarian Lower Franconia offer much more glamor and extravagance. You can't easily accommodate a large family in 50 square meters, but in this environment you'd rather be in a second marriage anyway. There are visual highlights on two floors, such as the free-standing bathtub, the gallery with a large double bed , the view of the lake or the open roof structure. The fact that the bathing area is open to view and has particularly high-quality furnishings fits into the concept of this chalet. This booking of this accommodation, which is part of an ensemble of houses on a lake, also enables the use of the “vitalOase” with numerous wellness offers as well as an indoor pool and sauna area .
